Welcome to our blog, where you will be able to live vicariously through Steve, Jo and Izzy as we travel around Australia, preferably taking the road much less travelled.

We hope to keep this blog up to date as much as possible, which we should be able to do thanks to the technical marvel that is Starlink. Yes, its owner is a fruit loop, but the service works well and should keep us connected wherever we are.

We are calling this a gap year, or more accurately, a Gen X gap year. We hope to share our adventures and experiences in these pages. 

We have not really planned much of an itinerary, choosing instead to go with the flow.
